Towel rail glycol is a heat transfer fluid which improves and maintains the efficiency of electric towel rails, by preventing the formation of limescale and corrosion whilst protecting the system from bacterial contamination. It is safe on all metals which are commonly found in heating and cooling systems.
Towel rail glycol is non-toxic, environmentally-friendly and 1 litre is sufficient for 1 standard towel rail (approximately 5 litre capacity in total).
Once added to the system it should not need topping up or replacing unless the towel rail is being changed or system maintenance is carried out. For further information, please see the technical and safety data sheets below.
