Electro Mechanical Systems Ltd (EMS) has renewed its partnership with Wessex Chemical Factors, returning to the FDS1 solvent cleaner after a brief switch to a cheaper alternative. The substitute product proved costly and ineffective, prompting workshop staff to push for change.
Procurement Manager Cameron Bell worked with Wessex to agree on a new contract price, allowing EMS to bring FDS1 back into use. The switch has reduced solvent consumption, improved cost stability, and restored technician confidence in their cleaning solution.
