EP8170 biocide is a powerful preserving agent which protects machine coolants from degradation caused by organic compounds. EP8170 biocide prevents the growth of bacteria, fungus, and other organic material within coolants, regardless of the pH of the fluid.
With low dose rate of just 0.25% of the volume of fluid, EP8170 Biocide is effective against growths without any impact on other media and material within the system.
Ideal for use once the system has been drained and cleaned through with Cleanaway B201, the coolant should then be dosed at 0.25% of the overall volume of fluid used. This should be repeated every time the system is refilled.
