Sodium Dithionite also known as Sodium Hydrosulphite is a white crystaline material with a very distinctive odour, akin to rotting cabbages.
It has a variety of uses including water purificaition, vat dyeing and for removing iron stains and corrosion from various organic and inorganic compounds.
