We design and create chemical blends that are used around the globe. Innovation has always been at the core of our business and our two highly qualified chemists, Mr Michael Borowski and Dr Malcolm Lown, are responsible for many of the chemical products in our range.
Our chemists are members of such organisations as UKWTA (United Kingdom Water Treatment Association), RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) and RSA (Royal Society of Arts, Commerce & Manufacturing). Dr Malcolm Lown is even a member of the Magic Circle! A WCF product was recently nominated as a finalist in the Dorset Innovation Awards here in the UK.
Not only do we design chemical products but we also manufacture within the same company. Wessex Manufacturing Ltd is located in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Close to the M1 and other major routes around the UK.
Wessex Manufacturing provides specialty chemicals, blending and contract packing.
We have three warehouse units which house our production machinery, including two thousand litre mixing pots (complete with dust extraction), filling, capping, labelling and batch coding machinery. We also have storage space for all our materials and a laboratory for testing and analysis.
Our production staff are IOSH approved (Institution of Occupational Safety & Health) and the Production Manager, Mr David Farren, has over 25 years experience in chemical manufacture.
Wessex Chemical Factors has a wide ranging customer base. Some of our specialist industries include:

Wessex Chemical Factors produces its very own brands (industrial & retail products), branded products for other businesses and also supplies a small selection of products from other suppliers.
Wessex supply Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C). This varies depending on the product and market. Wessex supplies to small businesses, local councils, UK government (Royal Navy) and large international companies. Wessex also supplies a smaller number of products direct to the consumer/public.
We supply various chemicals, for example, raw materials, powders, solvents, specialist aerosols, oils, greases and also many water based liquids. Wessex supplies out of our main depot in Three Legged Cross, near Bournemouth, Dorset. We also manufacture and supply from our manufacturing plant in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
